New York Liberty Kicks Off 2024 Season with “Her Time to Play” Clinic

To kick-off the New York Liberty’s 2024 season, over 50 girls were able to attend a Liberty open practice and participate in a “Her Time to Play” clinic at Barclays Center. The open practice consisted of a welcome address by Coach Sandy, the team practice, followed by a Q&A session hosted by Tina Cervasio and the NY Liberty starting five. After the practice, the girls were able to interact with Liberty players as well as learn basketball fundamentals taught by Liberty clinicians on the main court.

Her Time to Play is an opportunity for young girls to collaborate through youth basketball while also building visibility in women’s sports. Tune in to the New York Liberty’s Home Opener on Saturday, May 18th at 1 PM against the Indiana Fever at Barclays Center or broadcasted on ABC.
