NY Liberty Honored at Callen-Lorde’s 23rd Annual Community Health Awards

The New York Liberty was honored at Callen-Lorde’s 23rd Annual Community Health Awards for their unwavering commitment to social justice within the LGBTQ+ community. Liberty players and the organization have actively used their platforms to raise awareness and demand change on and off the court, including a $35,500 donation for Callen-Lorde, the New York Liberty’s 2023 Commissioner’s Cup Partner.

To kick off the night, NY Liberty legend, Sue Wicks, highlighted the team’s achievements and partnership with Callen-Lorde over the last several years including a recap video of this year’s Commissioner’s Cup Championship. Liberty CEO, Keia Clarke and Liberty Center, Stef Dolson, accepted the Community Health Honoree award on the Liberty’s behalf. Callen-Lorde’s Community Health Awards honors leaders, trailblazers, and visionaries in LGBTQ+ health and wellness.
