In 2016, the New York Liberty launched its inaugural UNITY initiative in response to police brutality and unjust police killings of unarmed black Americans.

Pride

The New York Liberty cultivate LGBTQ+-friendly experiences and spaces, all year long. However, each June, the Liberty participate in the national PRIDE celebration.
