Team Hosts Liberty Academy At University Heights Secondary School

We partnered with University Heights High School, located in The Bronx, NY, to host a Liberty Academy basketball clinic for their students. Liberty Academy, presented by HSS, provides safe spaces for young people of all skill levels to train and compete through high school. Along with leading warmups, HSS’ Sports Safety Program provides free injury prevention movement screenings so that they can help identify injury risk factors among youth participants.

University Heights High School is a New York City Department of Education (DOE) school and a member of the newly established New York City Empowerment Zone. The high school has been a member of the Coalition of Essential Schools (CES), and it is a founding member of the Center for Collaborative Education (CCE).
